From version 1.9, we would make sure that all the generated books would pass EPUB validation check. We would use EPubCheck tool.
In order to pass validation check, please check with the following things:
- All book information cannot be empty
- Cover image may be needed
All features in Creative Book Builder should be available when viewing book using iBooks. However, some features are causing validation errors for EPUB 3.0 and 2.0. If you need to avoid those errors when publishing to online book store, those features may not be used. You can check with your publishers or distributors.
Features that may cause validation errors in EPUB 3.0:
- Embed documents, e.g. pdf, doc, etc.
- Anchor Bookmark
Features that may cause validation errors in EPUB 2.0:
- Embed documents, e.g. pdf, doc, etc.
- Questions
- Video
- Audio Recording
- Song / Music
- Anchor Bookmark
- Quiz
- Slideshow
