Longdle is an exciting word puzzle game that combines the thrill of guessing with the satisfaction of solving longer words. In Longdle, you have six attempts to crack the mystery word. The word can be anywhere from a concise 3-letter gem to an impressive 10-letter masterpiece (and even up to 14 letters if you're playing on an iPad).
Here's how it works:
Color-Coded Tiles:
- When you guess a letter correctly and it's in the right position, the tile turns green.
- If the letter is part of the word but in the wrong position, the tile turns yellow.
- For incorrect letters, the tile appears dark gray.
Additional Clues:
- Encoded Numbers: Beneath each box, you'll find encoded numbers. Matching numbers indicate the same letter.
- Vowel Marker: Look out for the vowel marker – it tells you which box should contain a vowel (a, e, i, o, or u).
- Combo Picks: You can input 2 or 3 letters as a group – a handy feature for strategic guessing.
- Pre-Filled Letters: Some letters are already provided to give you a head start.
- Lowercase Letters: We've used lowercase letters for readability.
